American Southwest Culture

Beautiful Thunderbird

*Wikipedia The Thunderbird is a legendary creature in North American indigenous peoples' history and culture. It's considered a "supernatural" bird of power and strength. It is especially important, and richly depicted, in the art, songs and oral histories of many Pacific Northwest Coast cultures, but is also found in various forms among the peoples of the American Southwest and Great Plains. Thunderbirds were major components of the Southeastern Ceremonial Complex of American prehistory.

Vintage Western Wear Blog

Well every once in a while a little treasure will turn up here in the Old Pueblo.
My girlfriend owns "Diamond Lil's" a Vintage Store @ El Corral the western steak house on River Road near Campbell Avenue. (Inside the restaurant are museum quality vintage western wear. Most people don't realize the extensive collection they display) Well, she has uncovered some "Stuart Romero" Cowboy Boots that we are going to sell at Cowgirl Oasis.

www.cayeusa.com a wonderful site for Artifacts and Vintage pieces has the same pair of Stuart Romero Boots for sale for over $1,000.00. If you want to see some classic Western pieces check out this site.

Also, here is a blog dedicated to Vintage Cowboy Boots:
